My Daughter loves Winnie the Pooh! She is nine years old and loves him just as much today as she did when she was a toddler….. But who doesn’t love that silly ole bear stuffed with fluff?? Every time we go to Disney World, we have to ride the Pooh Bear ride at least six times, LOL.When we are not at the Magic Kingdom, she must watch all her Pooh Bear movies on DVD. I think she owns them all except the new one that was just released on Oct. 25th. My daughter has Autism, so she is not even aware that this new movie was just released. If she knew, I’m sure we would already own it. In the meantime, I am trying to win her one from Lisa over at Mom’s Misc Adventures! If you would like to try to win as well, head over to Lisa’s Blog: Mom’s Misc. Adventures and enter to win!

A few months ago, I decided it was time to get rid of the old VHS tapes. As I was digging them all out to donate them, I came across the Veggie Tales VHS tapes that belonged to my son, Kaleb, who will be twenty years old this month. Veggie Tales was one of his favorites and mine too! Needless to say, I could not part with the Veggie Tales tapes! Not only does those tapes hold great valuable moral and christian lessons but such fond memories. We loved all the stories and especially the silly songs with Larry…. Our favorites being Barbara Manatee and Everybody Needs a Water Buffalo.
Kaleb is grown and away at college but the Veggie Tales lives on in our house. His younger siblings love the Veggie Tales just as much as he did only in DVD format. A few days ago we received the New Veggie Tales ‘Twas the Night Before Easter DVD to review. My daughter loves it. She has watched it about ten times already. She loves the giant robot bunny and the all-new veggie character – Cassie Cassava!
I know that I can trust the Veggie Tales to entertain my children while teaching them valuable moral and christian lessons. I am thrilled with the new Veggie Tales movie!
Synopsis:
It’s Easter time in Crisper County and cable news reporter Marlee Meade (Petunia Rhubarb) is hunting for a way to help others. On a tip that the old town theater will be shut down, Marlee cooks up a plan to save the stage and make a difference through the power of musical theater. With a cast of costume-clad townies, massive props and a 20-foot robot rabbit – “Up With Bunnies” is hatched! There’s only one thing missing – the star of the show! When news spreads that singing sensation Cassie Cassava (Melinda Doolittle) is arriving to perform in her hometown church’s Easter service, Marlee gets worried. Concerned about the competition, she schemes to steal the starlet for her own pageant! But when things go haywire, will it be curtains for Marlee’s dreams – or will she discover the true meaning of Easter and what helping others is really all about?
You can purchase the Veggie Tales ‘Twas the night before Easter DVD online in the Veggie Tales Store. It’s now on Sale for $12.99! It’s also available at Walmart and attached to the DVD is a Veggie Tales Easter egg dye kit!
