Recently we were asked to review the Petz Fantasy: Sunshine Magic Nintendo DS game made by Ubisoft. I was very excited for my daughter to be able to try out this super cute game. My daughter has Autism but let me tell you that Autism doesn’t hold her back from enjoying her Nintendo DS.  As soon as the game arrived, She went into her game play mode and has played it non-stop!

Petz Fantasy: Sunshine Magic is all about caring for magical creatures like dragons, unicorns, pandas, or one of seventeen other creatures. There are twenty total eggs/creatures  for you to hatch and care for. You are responsible for making sure your creatures have all their needs met by feeding them, dressing them, playing with them and all the while keeping your creatures a secret from your parents!!  When you fill a creatures’ needs, you get to enter a magical world to train your creatures’ magic powers of fire, ice, flight, or speed! If your creatures’ needs are not met, they will begin to cry magical tears that you will need to clean up quickly before your parents discover your pet!

I knew my daughter would love this game! She is all about animals and believe it or not…..dragons and eggs are right down her alley! Since my daughter has Autism, she will not share her gaming experience with me but I can assure you that she totally loves this game. She has not put it down in the past few weeks that she has had it.  I have been able to sneak in a little game play without her knowledge and I personally think that it is a super cute game for any child that has a love for animals.
